



The security staff were helpful, the admin staff amazing given their working conditions (3 admin staff were checking in people on laptops on medical dispenser trolleys - not ergonomically perfect but it kept the line moving), and the nursing staff operated swiftly. We shared brief parts of our life stories, we did an impromptu aerobics workout, we played "Heads Ups" at the enjoyment of all around us. Yes a very, very long wait, however it felt alot shorter due to the good spirits of the people in the queue. I arrived at 8.45am, the 'no more walk-in' sign went out at approx. Hi Dean, I've just completed a 6 hour wait for a walk-in Pfizer vaccine at the Sandown Racecourse. For the sake of keeping spirits high, and adding a bit of good news to ol' rona blog, I liked this comment. Now before I post this, I'll add the disclaimer that I know not everyone's experience has been the same, and I don't want the people with valid frustrations to feel like they're being ignored.
